He attended the Art Institute where he had Pericle Fazzini and Leoncillo as teachers.
Leoncillo’s influence marked his first art work which was exhibited at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome in 1961, the III Mostra Nazionale d’Arte dei Giovani (3rd National Art exihibit of Young adults).
To follow there were a series of collective exihibitions in Termoli and Avezzano, together with Pascali e Kounellis.
His very first personal exihibit was at galleria Lo Scorpio in Rome, in 1964.
Many years of intense work will follow, where the artist drifts away from the influence of his first masters/teachers, seeking for a more personal soul avoiding the art current of the moment.
His interest is mostly toward organic material/malleable material, especially with terracotta.
In 1975 terracotta and bronze art pieces were exhibited at I due mondi Gallery, the result of many years of reseach.
Thereafter the exibit was moved to Milan at the Ada Zunino gallery , later on was moved to Argentario di Trento Gallery and Biennale di Campione d’Italia.
In 1975 through 1977 the critics Cesare Vivaldi, Dario Micacchi and Vito Apuleo and more, hosted/presented his work.
The main art concept of ciuti’s art, already stated in his art work since the 70s, becomes now consistent and innovative. It’ s a comparison, or better yet, a reserch of a comparison between the organic form and the essential geometry, among which the square and the circle and beyond the concept of the hard and soft, the pointy corners/sharp corners and the fold.
In november 1985 Ciuti holds an exhibition at Palazzo Barberini in Rome and in 1986 gets invited to exibit at the cultura di San Francisco Institute with the recognition/sponsorship of the foreign trade ministry.
In the United States Ciuti is the protagonist of a series of exhibits in private and public galleries including Canergie art museum in Oxnard- Los Angeles(1988), Cornejo Valley in Thousand Oaks California (1989), Hackman Gallery in Palm Springs California (1981), Lodi Art gallery in Pasadena(1993).
Back in Italy, Ciuti has a personal exibit at the project cultural association in Rome (1995) hosted by Arcangelo Izzo. In the same year he has another personal exhibit at the Nader Gallery in Santo Domingo.
In 1996 shows a series of large bronze pieces at the Framart studio gallery in Naples and another one within the same year at the Luckman Fine art Gallery of Los Angeles where he sets up a big exibit of his bronze with conferences and seminars.
In 1999 shows his pieces at the Varat gallery of Florence, hosted by Tommaso Trini.
His last art creations/ pieces in the 90s can be defined “unmeasurable architecture” in which the weight of the material tend to lightness or rising/growth.
